I tried taking different elements of the note off and adding them back, etc., and nothing worked. For about an hour the other day I tried to save a note as a template and it would return the error " unable to save the content of this note as a template".
here's another potentially related issue I've experienced when trying to save a note as a template. For me I just made a couple additional edits to the note, then went to another note and came back, and the option was there again for me.
In my case, it didn't even seem to be "adding a header" that was needed in order to get the error to clear (and the option to cease being greyed out).
